The Housekeeping Team Leader oversees and manages the Housekeeping Attendants in his/her assigned area, ensuring the cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas.
Job details :
Is fully aware of the tasks completed by his/her team as well as any Out Of Order/Out Of Service rooms
Ensures cleanliness of guest rooms, balconies, corridors and housekeeping pantries
Assists team in the preparation of Rush Rooms as requested by Guest Services
Ensures that guest supplies are replenished and floor pantries are stocked as required
Ensures guest requests are promptly and courteously met
Recognizes regular guests and maintains good knowledge of their preferences
Maintains accurate Team Leader reports and conducts the daily colleague briefings
Excellent English communication skills. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
Basic mathematical skills as well as organization and prioritization skills
Good knowledge of cleaning products, fabrics and overall Housekeeping processes
Proficiency in MS Office as well as entering and extracting data from the hotel system
Education: University certificate or equivalent
Experience: Minimum of three years progressive experience in the Housekeeping department of a five star luxury hotel with at least two years in a similar position. Ideally has previous work experience in the United Arab Emirates or the Middle East.
Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
