The Kitchen Assistant blends a passion for cooking and entertaining and an entrepreneurial spirit to support the Resident Chef in driving business results. The Kitchen Assistant follows the direction established by the Resident Chef.
Job details :
Ensures compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures as they relate to food service within the communities
Responsible for overall kitchen management including food ordering and budgeting
Maintains kitchen sanitation and safety standards, ensuring that all work/storage areas are clean, free of hazards and properly arranged
Prepares and assists with serving meals
Ensures a high degree of resident satisfaction at the community
Additional duties as assigned
1 year retail sales experience (preferred).
1 year food prep and/or kitchen operations experience (preferred).
Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Managers Certification.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
